Our Mom has been wanting to host a cooking show on Youtube for a while so we helped her put together this simple video.
We chose not to go with the standard Cooking show format of steady camera shots and took the hand held camera route to give it a more African feel.

AFRICAN THRILLER: CASTING LEAD FEMALE ROLE!

Make you no vex Ooo! If don’t already know, we postponed African Thriller last fall due to the fact that the production funds we were counting on didn’t come through. We’ve been in the process of raising money since then and things are only now starting to come together.

Now we could have slapped something together with the very minimal resources we had available but we were and still are too determined to take this thing to the next level. Abi, how long can one keep doing the same old thing before it gets stale?

Furthermore, because our video concept has evolved into a movie, the production budget is now much larger than we had originally planned.

That said, we are now in major pre-production mode with shooting set to begin at the end of May, 2009 in order to be ready for our July, 2009 release date!

Now this is where you guys come in! We are looking to cast an attractive African Girl between the ages of 18 to 29 (or at least looks so) to play the female lead in our movie. This one no be model contest oh…Ladies please take note …ACTING ABILITY IS REQUIRED! So if you or someone you know has a passion for acting, we would love to see what you’ve got!

We anticipate that this will be the hardest role to fill, which is why we are opening up our casting call to African Girls from all over the world.

Please keep in mind that you must be available to shoot your scenes both in the U.S. and Nigeria for a month starting at the end of May, 2009 (we are willing to tweak the shooting dates a little for the right girl). THIS IS A PAID ROLE PLUS ALL TRAVEL & BOARDING EXPENSES WILL BE COVERED!

If you are interested in this opportunity please do the following:

1. Create a simple video of yourself doing a monologue from a script of your choice or acting out a short scene with a friend (Please avoid 'frightened girl' performances).
2. Upload the video to YouTube. Feel free to set it to private if you don’t want anyone else to see it.
3. Send an email to NAIJABOYZ@GMAIL.COM containing a clear and recent photo, a short description of yourself, and a link to your YouTube audition video.

THE DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS MAY 12th 2009 (ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!)

CHAMILLIONAIRE MAKING GUEST APPEARANCE IN OUR UPCOMING VID

We've been talking to our Nigerian broda, Mr. Hakeem Seriki aka Chamillionaire about doing a remix of his new single 'CREEPIN SOLO' from his upcoming album 'VENOM'. He's agreed to make a guest appearance in our video so we've decided to kick the whole project into high gear. Plus the track is hot so it will be really fun to do the remix.

Don't worry we are still working on Thriller. We're just going to have to make time in the middle of our Thriller pre-production schedule to shoot a simple but creative video for Chamillionaire's single.

Check out the 'CREEPIN SOLO' single below. The first video is the original song featuring 'Ludacris' and is available for download on Itunes right now!

The second video is a remix (not ours) of the song featuring both 'The Game' and 'Ludacris'. Listen closely to Chamilionares new verse on this version to hear him blow some Yoruba...Yesso!...Lol, No Long Thing!

Anyway, we'll keep you guys up to date as to wether or not we end up tackling this project. As for now, he's down... we're down so the rest na for God to decide.
